Building a Community of Changemakers

Welcome to the Jovia Program at Apps and Girls – an initiative that goes beyond barriers to provide Advanced IT and Entrepreneurship training for underprivileged girls and young women in Tanzania. Our program is specifically designed for those who may have faced challenges in accessing higher education or had to discontinue their education due to socio-economic reasons.

Our program is tailored to empower participants with the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to thrive in the world of technology and entrepreneurship. Through a combination of hands-on training, mentorship, and practical experiences, we aim to create a supportive environment where dreams can turn into reality.

 
 

Who We Serve

The Jovia Program is dedicated to serving underprivileged girls and young women who aspire to make a mark in the tech industry but face financial constraints or have had to step away from formal education. We believe in the potential of every participant and strive to provide equal opportunities for growth and success.

The Jovia Program fosters a sense of community among participants. By connecting with like-minded individuals and mentors, girls and young women in the program become part of a supportive network that encourages innovation, resilience, and collaboration.
